Transformers Reach: Part 4

Dragon's Peek, Eastern Mountain Region, Day 5

Nightfall had came to Reach as Sixshot's army had taken over major parts of the planet in his mission to destroy all the remain Cybertronian Dragons and get the Energon shortage salutation back to Cybertron, but the dragons have are not giving up until this war has won or die trying. So on this very night a Decepticon Dropship was hovering around in the mountains on patrol for any dragon intruders before heading back to base. As soon as the coast was clear Jun and Gunner came out of their hiding spots as they continue their hike along the cliff sides of the mountain wall, these two dragons were dispatched on a covert mission to found out where Sixshot's base of operations was and maybe put it out of business. So now Jun and Gunner slowly make their way across the mountain side each holding their SRS99-Sniper Rifle's in their claws, they so watch their steps between the gasps and small areas of the cliffs because one wrong step and it's a long way down to the bottom.

Jun: (On the COM Link) Recon Team Bravo reporting in: Three and Six in position. It's starting to get crowded up here, Kat.

Kat: (Radio) Then we're closing in. Report any Decepticon structures or devices. Direct action may be necessary

Jun: (On the COM Link) Copy that. (To Gunner) [Chuckling] When Kat runs an op, direct action is always necessary

(Then Jun hands over Gunner some sniper bullets)

Jun: Here. You may need these. High-velocity armor-piercing. They'll take the hat off an Elite Drone at two thousand yards. And they ain't cheap

(Finally after crossing the mountain side Jun and Gunner saw a small valley road just below them leading deeper into the mountain valley)

Jun: I'll be in touch

(So as Jun climbed up to the next ridge taking the high road Gunner slides down the mountain side and into the valley taking the low road as the search for Con's base began. Gunner hike through the valley and up a hill as a rainstorm was pouring down which provides a perfect cover for sniper shots, as Gunner came around he saw a lone Dragon Elite Drone standing guard and overlook a combat camp, quietly Gunner took out his dragon knife and quickly assassinated the drone. With the lookout neutralized up above the ridge Jun position himself so he get a clear shot at one of those Elite Drones and waited for a bolt of lighting to strike, as soon as a lighting bolt scattered across the sky Jun took the shot hitting an Elite drone in the head which caused the other drones to be on high alert. Gunner took this chance to make his next move as he uses his force grip to lift all the drones up into the air, crash them a bit and threw them right off the mountains. With the Elite drone's destroy Gunner and Jun were able to processed as they continue through the valley. A minute or so later Gunner and Jun regroup as they approach at the first structure which it was crawling with Dragon Elite Drones and a few Decepticon Troops)

Jun: (On the COM Link) Recon Bravo to Noble Two: Standby for context report

Kat: (Radio) Standing by to copy, over

Jun: (On the COM Link) We have eyes on multiple hostiles patroling a settlement, is this what we're looking for, Kat?

Kat: (Radio) Negative! Too small. Your not in the Dark Zone yet. You may engage at your own choice but keep moving.          

(So Jun and Gunner crouch down, set up their sniper rifles and aimed at those Decepticons who were talking among themselves about the planets weather)

Decepticon Soldier 1: Augh! Man, I hate the rain! It always makes me rust

Decepticon Soldier 2: Then you should do what I do then. Get yourself some Energon Oil. They really help against rain rust

Decepticon Soldier 1: Not me, Energon Oil makes me jittery. Besides we need to stay alert in case if there's any---

(Sudden Decepticon Soldier and his friend got shot in the head causing them to fall to the ground, alerting all the Dragon Elite in the courtyard. Then sudden appearing out of nowhere Gunner leaped down from the hill with his swords in hand and started slashing those Elite's apart while Jun stayed on the hill providing cover fire. Gunner was too busy slashing the drone that he didn't notice one of those Dragon Elite Drones was sneaking up on him from behind ready to strike, Jun saw the drone and quickly blast it away as Gunner finished the remain drones. Once the area was clear Jun slide down the hill to join Gunner in the courtyard)

Gunner: Whew, thanks for the save back there, Jun

Jun: Don't be so surprised that's what you get for showing off

(With the area secured Jun and Gunner head up on the ridge and move through the complex to the other side where the road is. As the two dragons made it through the complex they saw that next the road into the clearing was being guarded by a guard of Dragon Elite Drones and making matters worse there was a couple of Elite Drones on the center column with sniper rifles. So this time Jun headed down to engage the drones while Gunner provide him cover fire started off with the sniper drones on the center column. So while Gunner started blasting those sniper drones one by one Jun took a grenade and threw it onto the unexpected drones and the explosion caught them off guard, then Jun pulled out his rifle and started shooting the remains. As soon as Gunner finished off the enemy snipers he turned around to help out Jun but saw that Noble Three has everything under control, everything was going fine until Gunner looked up ahead and saw a group of oncoming Dragon Elite Drones heading towards Jun. On quick thinking Gunner saw an explosive barrel in the drones path, so he took his sniper rifle and fire a shot at the barrel which caused a big explosion that took out the whole group of drones. As Jun finished off the last of the Dragon drones Gunner rejoined him on the ground)

Jun: Good shot, Six

Gunner: Thanks. Had a lot of practice with Jazz

(With the drones dealt with Noble headed up the hill as they continue down the road to find the Decepticon Base, along the road ahead the dragons came across a large clearing where they saw a group of Decepticon Soldiers and Dragon Elite Drones in the mites of battle with two large ugly creatures)

Gunner: What. The slag. Are those?!

Jun: Those are Kunta's. But don't worry they won't bother us as long as we don't bother them

Gunner: You sure about that?

Jun: Trust me, I dealt with them before. Beside those Con's will keep them busy, so I suggest we move on while we still can

Gunner: Yeah, better than having the Cons on our tails    

(So Jun and Gunner quietly went around the clearing avoiding the battle as best as possible as they sneaked by and continued down the road leaving the Cons to get ripped apart by the Kunta's. Now Jun and Gunner were heading down hill and as they were passing through a canyon upon a sudden they started to hear the sounds of a gunfire)

Jun: Gunfire. Magma's. Security side outs, standard issue

(So Jun and Gunner quickly fallowed the gunfire sounds up hill and it was getting louder as they made out of the canyon and into a large opening, hiking up a small hill up ahead Jun and Gunner came upon a Pumping Station neared a river side and down in the station Noble saw a group of MilitiaDragons fighting off a group of Decepticon Soliders)

Jun: (On the COM Link) Noble Two, we're at some Pump Station. Got eyes on civilians. I'm thinking local Militia, engage hostiles?

Kat: (Radio) Negative, Three. They may have Intel we'll need

Jun: (To Gunner) You heard her, Six. Keep those civilians alive

(With that Jun and Gunner took positions and their sniper rifles and began putting some pressure on those Cons giving the MilitiaDragons a chance to push them back. As Jun and Gunner came down the hill they joined the Militia to put those Cons down, as one of those Con Soldiers made one final attempt to blast those dragons but Gunner took his sniper rifle and shoot the Con in the head causing it to crash onto the ground and finally securing the station)

MilitiaDragon 1: A little more action than we're use to, you Elite Dragons are good in a fight

Jun: What are you doing here? Whole area suppose to be evacuated

MilitiaDragon 1: Didn't like leaving it to someone else to protect our home so we came back, for this

(Then two MilitiaDragon's came up front carrying to large case's and when they opened them everyone saw they were fulled with Dragon Army weapons)

MilitiaDragon 1: We had them hidin' all over the territory

Jun: You know this stuff is stolen

MilitiaDragon 1: What are you gonna arrest me?

Jun: No, gonna steal it back

(Before Gunner had a chance to say anything he suddenly heard something coming, so he turned around and saw out in the open was an inbound Decepticon Dropship en route to their positions)

Gunner: (To all the dragons) I hate to interrupt, everyone, but we got visitors!          

(Quickly Jun, Gunner and all of the MilitiaDragons took defensive positions around the pumping stations as the Decepticon Dropship approached the courtyard and deployed Decepticon Troopers, then the dragons opened fire defending the station like a fortress against the Decepticon invaders using everything they got to defend and the station and keeping those MilitiaDragons alive. As the battle was heating up the dragons were getting the upper hand that is until two more Decepticon Dropships appeared from behind the mountain heading towards the station, to make sure no Con soldier sets foot on the ground Gunner quickly went over to the weapon's stash and pulled out a rocket launcher. Then Gunner flew to the top of the station's roof and position himself for a clear shot, as soon as he got his shot Gunner fired a couple of missiles at the first Dropship's engines causing the ship to spin out of control as it flew across the valley and crashed right into the side of the mountain. With the first Dropship destroyed but it was too late to get the second ship as it deployed another squad of Con Troopers. Quickly Gunner tossed the rocket launcher over to Jun so he can use it to blew those troopers away leaving Gunner and MilitiaDragons to finish off the rest as they open fired. With the last of the Decepticons dealt with the pumping stations was finally secured, then all the dragons regrouped by the bridge to the river side.)

Jun: Where does this road go?

MilitiaDragon 1: The road leads to Hydro Electric Plant. But the gate doesn't work

Jun: Alternative route?

MilitiaDragon 1: We use the river bad to smuggle food, weapons...

Jun: Basically, anything ONI considers commie banned

MilitiaDragon 1: Basically

Jun: Show us

(So Gunner and Jun started to fallow the MilitiaDragons across the bridge and down into the riverbad to investigate the Hydro Plant)

Jun: Where does this riverbed lead?

MilitiaDragon 1: Straight to the Hydro Plant. We dam this river up seventy five years ago, the plant powers every settlement in the territory. Shame if it all gets wasted

Gunner: We'll do what we can

(As the dragon's traveled along side the riverbed up ahead was a Decepticon Dropship just hovering around making rounds as it kept a lookout for any intruders. The dragon's quietly took cover and waited out until the dropship finished up and took off. With the path cleared the dragons continued their way down the riverbed until they came upon a riven, looking around the dragon's saw the Hydro Plant just across the riven with Decepticon Soldiers and Dragon Elite Drones guarding a Decepticon power tower placed right in the middle of the plant.)

Jun: (On the COM Link) Kat, are you seeing this? Decepticon structure kinda like a big pylon, heavily fortified

Kat: (Radio) That's the source of the Dark Zone

Jun: (On the COM Link) Okay, consider it gone...

Kat: (Radio) Negative! Stick remote charges on it. Command is planning something big. They say the plan would die if you destroy it now

Jun: (On the COM Link) Roger that, Kat. Bravo Team out

MilitiaDragon 1: (To Jun) So are we gonna blow it?

Jun: We're gonna clear the area and I'm gonna plant a remote charge. You wanna provide some cover? Go right ahead

(So with that Jun and few MilitiaDragons took a few grenade's and rolled them across the bridge and right under a patrol of Dragon Elite Drones, not only did the explosion destroyed the drones but it also alerted every Con in the plant as the dragon's charged in battle. The Decepticons put up a good fight but the dragon's started to overwhelm them as they invaded the plant, a few drones on the Pylon Tower saw this happening they hopped onto some turrets and started blasting those dragon's down to size but Gunner took his rifle and shot those drones right off the turrets. After spreading across the plant checking every corridor, roof, hallway and courtyard Noble and the MilitiaDragons wiped out the Decepticon's control of the plant)

Jun: (To Gunner) All clear, Six. This is gonna take a minute so keep your eyes peeled

(So while Jun went over to the Decepticon Pylon Tower to set the charges Gunner and the MilitaDragons defended Jun's position for any incoming attack. And that didn't take long as a Decepticon Dropship came into the area and dropped off a pair of Dragon Hunter Drones. Gunner quickly flew up to the Pylon Tower's plateform and detach one of the turrets leaped down and opened fired but the Hunter Drones used their arm shield to dock the attack, this provided the perfect distraction for one of the MilitiaDragon sneak behind them with a rocket launcher. As the MilitiaDragon fired the first shot destroying the first Dragon Hunter he turn to get the other one but the second Dragon Hunnter knocked him right off his feet and hit the ground, just when the Hunter Drone was about to strike Gunner quickly ran up and stabbed it in the back with his swords and then sliced it in half. With the Dragon Hunter Drones gone Gunner helped the MilitiaDragon back on his feet as Jun came up to them)

Jun: (On the COM Link) Recon Bravo to Noble Two, charge placed

Kat: (Radio) Somewhere inconspicuous I hope

Jun: (On the COM Link) Stick it inside the Pylon's power supply

Kat: (Radio) Alright, keep pushing into the Dark Zone. Command wants to know what The Decepticons are hiding

Jun: (On the COM Link) There's a gate to the southeast of the Hydro Plant

Kat: (Radio) Copy that! Uploading security codes to you now      

(So as all the dragon's approached the Hydro Plant's gate Jun punched in the code into the security keypad unlocking the gate)

Jun: (On the COM Link) Okay, unlocking the gate

Kat: (Radio) Recon Bravo your heading into the Dark Zone

Jun: (On the COM Link) Understood

(Come all this way Jun and Gunner figured they must be getting close to Sixshot's base of operations as the dragon's proceed farther into the Dark Zone. As the dragon's traveled down the mountains and seeing all the Con air traffic they must be close but the only thing standing in the way was a small combat base full of Dragon Elite Dragons and a turret. But that wasn't going to stop Noble from completing their mission as Gunner grabbed the MilitiaDragon's rocket launcher and fired it's last shot on the turret as everyone else engaged the remaining drones turning them into scrap metal. With the area cleared Jun and Gunner saw a glowing purple light coming from the far side of the mountain cliff, so as they approach the edge they got down on their belly side and looked out for what they saw was Sixshot's Base down in the valley below the mountains and the place was fulled with Decepticon Soldiers, Seekers, Tanks, you name it. They got everything they need to conquer the planet)

Jun: Jackpot

Gunner: (On the COM Link) Transmitting visual. You seeing this, Kat?

Kat: (Radio) Confirmed... Receiving Noble Three and Noble Six live visual of a Decepticon Strike Force

Jun: (On the COM Link) That's no strike force, it's an invading army. If we're gonna smother this thing, we need to go hard and fast  

Kat: (Radio) Agreed. All recon teams disengage and fall back. Sun will be up in a few hours... and it's going to be a very busy day
