Griffy and Gunner's High Sea Adventure Chapter 4

And to think this all started out as such a nice day but now Griffy and Gunner had gotten themselves into quite a pickle this time, all chained up by a group of ruffles pirates on a far off island in the middle of the ocean in the dead of night. And to make matters worse standing before them was the most vicious and most dangerous pirate captain of all: Captain BrokenHorn. On top of the hill of the Mayor Star Seeker's estate Captain BrokenHorn stepped outside with a bottle of rum in his magic grip and an unpleased look on his face. As he took his final sip and slammed the bottle on the ground making Griffy, Gunner and the Mayor jump.

Captain BrokenHorn: Gentlemen, I be placed in a bewilderment, there I were...resting and upon a sudden I hear a Celestia-sake row in my town. Ponies abandoning their posts without orders, without leave. Intruders coming ashore to take my island for themselves. What be that First Mate?

Sea Rose: Mutiny, Captain

Captain BrokenHorn: Again!

Sea Rose: MUTINY!!

Captain BrokenHorn: Aye, mutiny. (Uses his magic to pull out his sword) And what fate befalls mutineers? Now, we know the answer to that, do we don't? Mutineers HANG!!!

(His entire crew cheered with their captain, but none of them were not paying attention to noticed that Griffy started to pick the lock on his handcuffs with his claw, Gunner kept an eye out for him while the pirates think of a good way to disposed them)

Black Slice: I say I should deal with them! One shot in their heads will all it takes

Sea Rose No way, I should be the one to deliver them a swift end, a little payback for what they did to me

Captain BrokenHorn: Aye, but I have something more slow and painful in mind. Cannonball! now I think this is the perfect time for your new little toy

Cannonball: Aye eye, sir!

(So as Cannonball approached the captives he pulled out a miniature cannon gun and pointed it at Griffy)

Griffy: Keep that thing away from me, you giant freak!

Gunner: Leave him alone! Use it on me!

Cannonball: "To Gunner" Don't be so impatient, dragon boy. When I'm done with your friend you'll be next

(Without even realize Gunner distracted Cannonball long enough for Griffy to get the handcuffs off)

Cannonball: Have ye any last words? You freaky little bird

Griffy: Yeah, you should know that am not a bird. I'm a Pygmy Griffin!

(Then Griffy scooped up some dirt and threw it in Cannonball's face blinding him and making him miss his shot as he fired his cannon gun toward the captain and the other, but they quickly jumped out of the way. Then Griffy spread his wings and took off into the sky, then Gunner decided to make his own exit as he grabbed Mayor Star Seeker and ran towards a wooden crane, as Gunner grabbed the rope he kicked off the rope lock and he and the mayor shot up into the air as a cargo of cider barrel's crashed down on the ground and rolled out rampaging the pirates. At the top with the mayor on his back Gunner grabbed another rope and tried to swing off, but the rope was caught onto the crane and they started to spin around in the air uncontrollably with the crane. As the pirates got back up they looked and saw Gunner and the mayor spinning around and around in the sky)

Black Slice: "To Captain BrokenHorn" Now can I shoot them?!

Captain BrokenHorn: OPEN FIRE!!!

(So Sea Rose, Black Slice and Cannonball pulled out their pistols and cannon's and started to shoot at Gunner and the mayor as they continue spinning around on the crane. Had enough Gunner took the rope he had and swing'd toward's a light pole that had a rope line heading down the hill and into town)

Captain BrokenHorn: AFTER THEM!!!

(With the pirates coming Gunner toss the chains of his cuffs over the rope and started to zip-line down the hill with the mayor hanging on for dear life. As soon as they reached the town Gunner jumped off and started to run with Griffy flying behide them, coming down the hill Black Slice and Cannonball continued to fire their pistols and cannons at them as Griffy and Gunner dodged the crossfire as they headed to woods)

Captain BrokenHorn: Hunt them down! Do not stop until they are found! And bring me their heads!

Cannonball & Black Slice: Aye aye, Captain!

(As Captain BrokenHorn and Sea Rose went to attend business elsewhere Cannonball and Black Slice went into the island forest to hunt Gunner and Griffy like wild animals)

(Deep inside Plunder Island's forest Gunner and Griffy (with the mayor) ran through the woods as Cannonball and Black Slice chased them down like hunters firing their pistols and cannons at them, as the chase lead toward a high waterfall where Gunner and Griffy found themselves at a dead end with nowhere else to go as the pirates walking up from behide)

Cannonball: Gotcha now, landlubbers!

Black Slice: Best be sayin' your pray's

Mayor Star Seeker: "To Griffy and Gunner" Now what?

(As Gunner looked over the waterfall he saw something on at the bottom and looked at his handcuffs as an ideal popped into his head)

Gunner: "To Mayor Star Seeker" I got an ideal but you gotta trust us

Mayor Star Seeker: I already do!

(Then Cannonball and Black Slice fired their weapons knocking the heroes right off the waterfall, as the pirates walked over to the edge and looked down fingering that those heroes had fallen into the river pool and drowned. Laughing at their success they headed back to their ship, without even knowing a few feet below the edge Gunner was using the chains of the cuffs to hang on a breach as Griffy and Mayor Star Seeker hanged on to him. Later as Griffy, Gunner, The Mayor and the townsponies returned to town for another round of Captain Brokenhorn but only found the town completely empty no sign of Captain BrokenHorn or his crew anywhere. And things got worse as all the towns treasure and supplies were also gone too)

Gunner: Great! Where could those pirates had taken all that stuff?

Griffy: To the only place they could have, back to their ship!

Gunner: The Broken Unicorn? Yeah, your right if we can that ship we'll stop those pirates and get everything back

Griffy: That's the plan. "To Mayor Star Seeker" Mr. Mayor, do you know where the pirates have taken their ship?

Mayor Star Seeker: It's on the far side of the island about a hundred meters that way

Griffy: Thanks and don't worry we'll got rid of those pirates

(With their destination set Griffy and Gunner set out to the far side of Plunder Island to catch up with Captain BrokenHorn)

(Meanwhile after a lot of tracking Gunner and Griffy positioned themselves on top of a cliff and they looked down as they found a secret hidden docking where Captain Brokenhorn and his crew were loading their goods into their ship: The Broken Unicorn. The pirate captain himself was overlooking the progress, but as the last cargo was about to be loaded all of a sudden someone shoot the rope off from the crane causing the cargo to crash on the docks giving the pirates a great surprise. On the other side of the docks the pirates saw Griffy and Gunner who had gotten their attention)

Gunner: Ahoy! Mateys!

(The pirates were in shock at the sight of them)

Captain BrokenHorn: Not possible

Griffy: Not probable! We're alive and we're pirates!

Gunner: The GOOD kind!

Captain BrokenHorn: So you want to play pirate? Best save the playacting for the nursery!

(Then BrokenHorn and his crew pulled out their guns and pistols and aimed them at the heroes. Just when they were about to pull the trigger an ideal popped into Griffy's head and hoping that this will work)

Captain BrokenHorn: "To his crew" Throw them into the ocean!

The Crew: Aye aye!

Griffy: "To the pirates" Parley!

(The pirates eyes widen at that statement)

Captain BrokenHorn: 'Scuse me?

Gunner: "To Griffy" Barley?

Griffy: Parley, Gunner. It's a bit of a pirates' code. Anyone who invokes "parley" must not be harmed 'til negotiations are complete.

Sea Rose: But Captain, this is no time for the rules!

Captain BrokenHorn: True. But as we're honorable pirates we should always stick to the Code. (To Griffy) All right, you. Out with it!

Griffy: If you agree to leave this island and never return we'll never bother you and your crew again and you'll be free to do whatever you want, agreed?

Captain BrokenHorn: Hm, agreed. Leave we shall

(So with that Captain BrokenHorn and his pirates boarded their ship along with all the goods they collected)

Gunner: "To Captain BrokenHorn" Hey wait! What about the goods?!

Captain BrokenHorn: I said I'd leave-but I didn't say I'd leave empty-handed! Not only did we steal all the town's treasure, but I got a special prize from the Mayor, to boot! HAR! HAR! HAR!

(Then Cannonball pulled off a sleet to reveal the young unicorn mare: Star Runner trapped in a cage on the pirate ship)

Star Runner: "To Griffy and Gunner" HELP! They have me!

(Then the pirates set sail into the ocean leaving Griffy and Gunner behide as they get away to the town's goods, treasures and Star Runner. Later as the guys returned to town they headed for the docks to deliver some bad news to the mayor)

Mayor Star Seeker: Star Runner? My daughter? Captured? Oh no! Those pirates are a dangerous lot! We must save her!

Gunner: And we will. We just need to know where those pirates have taken her?

(Then the Pegasus Ship Master appeared over the ship)

Ship Master: I know, they hide out in their fortress at Skull Island! I'll take you there!

Griffy: Then let's get moving! High time we finish this for good!

(As Gunner, Griffy, and the Mayor boarded their ship the Ship Master sailed into ocean as they headed out to find Captain BrokenHorn and save Star Runner and end this whole battle on the pirates home island: Skull Island)
