Griffy and Gunner's High Sea Adventure Chapter 3

As the sun was starting to set over the horizon Star Runner and her new crew had finally to their destination: Plunder Island. Once they docked at the port Gunner and Griffy got a good like of the place, Plunder Island was a good size island with a town settlement along the beaches and cliff's, beyond the town laid a small forest with hills and waterfalls. As soon as they set at the docks Gunner and Griffy jumped down from the ship and went to work, but first they had to know what they are up against. Sneaking pass a few building Gunner and Griffy poked their heads around a corner and found themselves in the town square where the ponies of the island were all chained together and being stuffed into cages as their superior a large male dark red earth pony pirate with a grey mane, he had a ripped on his left ear wearing two small grey earrings. The pirate was wearing a small brown vast and brown shelves on both of his forelegs and his cutie mark was a cannon.

Gunner: That was be Cannonball, he's large then I thought

Griffy: Great, how are we suppose to take down a pony that size?

Gunner: Well you know what they said: the bigger they are, the harder they fall

(Once as Cannonball got all the townspony into the cages he lit a couple of his favorite bombs and bucked them into a couple of house and the house's burst into an explosion of fire giving Cannonball a laughter of joy, but the moment was cut short when he heard somepony calling his name. Dropping in from the sky was light green female Pegasus with a pink mane and a gold earring on her left ear, she was wearing a brown jacket and her cutie mark was a red rose with a sword across it)

???: What do you think your doing, Cannonball?! I give you a job to do!

Cannonball: "Groaning" Get off my back, Sea Rose! I was doing it until I got bored (Held up a lit bomb) you know how much I love blasting stuff in front of a crowd

(Then Cannonball toss the bomb and an explosion appeared behide him)

Sea Rose: Will you stop wasting time with these landlubbers! And get back to work!

Cannonball: Hey just because you're first mate doesn't mean you can boss me around!

(As the two argued Gunner saw this a window opportunely for a sneak attack, so he dashed from the building to the cages and used them as cover to get in closer)

Griffy: Gunner--what are you doing?

Gunner: Getting my jump on!

(As Gunner went cover to cover with the cages he positioned himself behide a cage that it was right behide the pirates, then Gunner activated his cloaker and started to sneak up on them)

Sea Rose: "To Cannonball" Never forget that when the captain is resting I'm in charge, you Idiotic, Scurvy-ridden, Swabber!

Cannonball: HA! And you're a Marooned, Twisted, Piece of filth!      

Sea Rose: And if I were you, I suggest you tend to your visitor

(Without even a word Sea Rose took off into the sky)

Gunner: "In Cloak" What?

(When Cannonball heard that he rises his back legs and kicked Gunner into the cages causing his cloaker to deactivate. But Gunner quickly got up and he and Cannonball engaged  in a fist to hoof combat, but every time Gunner lay a hit on the giant earth pony hardly did anything on him. But when Cannonball punched Gunner right the face it stunned him a little just enough for Cannonball to use all the strength in his back legs and bucked him across town square and Gunner crashed into table of bottles sending the drinks up into the air. As a bottle of rum landed near Cannonball he picked it up pulled the cock out with his teeth and spit it out and took a drink as he walked over to Gunner)

Cannonball: Is that the best you got you over sized lizard?

Gunner: Don't you know a dragon when you see one?!

Cannonball: Oh sorry lizard face, but this was fun. So now how about I blow you're limbs off piece by piece! Har---Har---Har!

(Without even knowing Griffy sneaked up from behide, grabbed to the bottle from Cannonball's hoof and smash it on top of Cannonball's head knocking the pirate out)

Griffy: "To Gunner" Yeah, you jumped into that one!

Gunner: Hey we got him, didn't we? And thank you for the save

Griffy: What would you do without?

(With Cannonball knocked out Gunner and Griffy quickly unlocked the cages and set the townsponies free, with everypony free a Pegasus ship master pony walked up to the heroes)

Ship Master: Thank you! We've never been really good at fighting pirates. We've tried to get rid of these rotten pirates--but we ended up in here.

Gunner: We're just happy all of you are okay

Griffy: You should also thank Star Runner too, she's the one who brought us here to help

Ship Master: We'll be sure to do that. Maybe you two can still rescue her father: Mayor Star Seeker...he's been held captive in the Mayor's estate at the top of the hill

(On the other side of town on top of a small hill sat the Mayor's estate home but since the take over it has become the pirates command center)

Gunner: Don't you worry we're on it. You and everyone else get to safety and lay low

Ship Master: We will, and be careful Captain BrokenHorn is up there too

Griffy: Thanks for the tip, we'll be careful

(As the townsponies headed for the island woods Griffy and Gunner headed up the hill making their way towards the mayor's estate)

(Navigating through the streets and hiking up the hill Griffy and Gunner was standing just outside the gates to the estate, scanning the area the guys saw somepony in a cage just sitting right next the to estate's front door. The pony in the cage was an elder male unicorn pony, the unicorn is a dark purple with light blue mane and top hat on his head and his cutie mark was a shooting star. It was Plunder Island's mayor: Star Seeker. So now they guys found the mayor but getting to him was gonna be a problem for he was being guarded by the female Pegasus pirate: Sea Rose)

Griffy: Should we try and go around?

Gunner: It'll take time

Griffy: Well, that's something we don't have

Gunner: Don't worry Griffy, we get into worse situation then this, we just need a plan that's all

???: Psssst! Psssst! Hey you two, over here!

(Gunner and Griffy turned to the source of the voice and saw a skinny black unicorn hiding in an alleyway motioning his hoof to come towards him, at first Gunner and Griffy wasn't too sure about this so they walked over to him with cautions)

Black Unicorn: I heard you two are on a quest to free this island from Captain BrokenHorn

Gunner: Yeah, what's it too ya?

Black Unicorn: Because I want to help elaborate this island from those no good pirates

Griffy: And what kind help can you provide for us?

Black Unicorn: I know a thing or two about Captain BrokenHorn's First Mate: Sea Rose. Like for instants: her only weakness is a good sword dual, challenge her and she won't back down

Gunner: Hm, that gives me an ideal. Griffy, I'll keep Sea Rose distracted while you get the mayor out.   

Griffy: Alright, but careful BrokenHorn's last member is still out there

Gunner: HA! Don't worry we'll kick his butt the other two

(Later in the yard of the estate Sea Rose hovered in the air looking out onto the island as everything was falling into place in her captain's plan, but then someone whistled at her to get attention. On the ground Gunner walked toward her as the pirate floated back down)

Gunner: I heard you're a pretty good swordsmen, how about a little dual then? If I win you let the mayor go

Sea Rose: Come for the Mayor, have ye? Will I'm the best fighter in the crew, but you try ye luck if ya wish. If I win you'll have to stay in the cage forever. And if you win...well, that ain't gonna happen! There's no one in the Equestrian Seas that can beat me!

(Then Sea Rose pulled out her dual wielding swords from her sides and went into her battle stands)

Gunner: I see you're a dual wielding, well so am I

(Then Gunner too pulled out his dual swords and Sea Rose and him clashed steel as they started their fight. As they keep each other busy Griffy quietly sneaked past the fight and got to the Mayor's cage and started to pick the lock with his claws. Gunner was having a hard time fighting Sea Rose because she was cheating by using her wings to her advantage, then Sea Rose leaped over Gunner and kicked him from behide knocking him into giant barrels of cider. Once Griffy managed pick the lock and opened the cage checked on Gunner and saw him pinned down, as he saw they were near the barrels of cider an ideal popped into his head and flew over to help. Just when Sea Rose was about to make the final blow Griffy landed on one of the barrels and punched a giant hole in the side and the cider shot out like a hose shooting Sea Rose out of the sky and fell off the hill)

Gunner: "To Griffy" Once again thanks, that was cutting it a bit close, hu?

Griffy: Hey we got her, didn't we

Gunner: True that!

(As Gunner and Griffy slam fists with each other Mayor Star Seeker walked up to them)

Mayor Star Seeker: Oh thank you for saving me! I've been in that cage for days! But that's not the worst of it! Those nasty pirates have stolen all our town treasure! They're going to load it onto their ship and take them to their island fortress. You must stop them!

Griffy: Have no fear Mr. Mayor, we'll handle it

(Then all of a sudden some one removed the barrel's latch's and started to roll down the yard catching Griffy, Gunner, and the mayor in a barrel rampage knocking them to the ground. When the barrel's had stopped stepping out of the shadows was the black skinny unicorn pony)

Griffy: What's the big ideal you back stabber?

Black Unicorn: Sorry, after you did to Sea Rose I had to stop you, after all...

(Then sudden the black unicorn burst into a green fire and revealed himself as a Changeling wearing a red bandanna on his head)

Changeling: I am a pirate!

(Then Sea Rose flew back up all stick and wet from the cider)

Sea Rose: Well done, Black Slice!

(Then coming from behide Cannonball picked Griffy and Gunner up from the ground)

Cannonball: Lights Out!

(Then Cannonball slam Gunner and Griffy's head's each other knocking them out)

(Later as Gunner and Griffy came around they found themselves handcuff in chains and Sea Rose, Cannonball, and Black Slice laughing at them with Mayor Star Seeker be their side)

Sea Rose: Pathetic! These two are the bearers of the so called "Elements of Harmony"?

Black Slice: I heard they are suppose to be great warriors. Ha, they don't look so great to me

Gunner: Then let us out of these chains and we'll show you

Sea Rose: I wouldn't do anything rashly or else something bad is gonna happen to the Mayor!

(For example Black Slice pointed his pistol at the mayor's head)

Gunner: Don't do it!

Griffy: Just you wait, we're gonna kick you off this island before you know it!

(Then all of sudden the doors of the Mayor's estate swag opened and Sea Rose and the other pirates stand to attention as everyone started to heard the sounds of foot steps coming out. Stepping outside was a blue male unicorn with brown mane with a red strip, he had a rip on his left ear a small mustache and small beard. He was wearing a brown jacket and a brown pirate hat with a red feather on it, and he had a pony skull and cross bones as his cutie mark. Even though his a unicorn his horn was broken off and still he can use his magic as he a bottle of rum in his magic grip taking a slip from it, this broken horn unicorn was the pirate captain himself: Captain BrokenHorn)

Gunner: "To Griffy" We maybe in a little more trouble then we thought
